Step-by-Step Tutorial
Row 1:Sc in the 4th chain from your hook. Ch 1, sk next ch, sc in next ch. Repeat from * to * all the way across your starting chain. Make sure your final stitch is a single crochet. Ch 2 and turn. [6, 7, 8]
Row 2:Sc into the very first ch-1 space from the previous row. Ch 1, sk the next sc, sc into the next ch-1 space. Repeat from * to * across. Finish the row by placing one last sc in the turning chain space. Ch 2 and turn. [6, 7, 8]
All Subsequent Rows:Repeat Row 2! You will always be placing your single crochets into the chain spaces below, rather than into the stitches themselves. [3, 7, 8]
